Welcome to Signum Whippets.

We have been involved with Whippets (for every reason!) since 1971.
It was seeing Ch Fleeting Flamboyant making his debut at the
Swedish Kennel Club show in Malmö 1971 that started it all. Later that same year
Flamboyant's son Ch Bohem Flambingo (bred by Bo Bengtson)
became our very first Whippet. "Smokey" was later followed by his half-brother
Ch Fleeting Flamingo, "Andy", that was imported from Mrs Molly Garrish in England.
We have never been without one (or more) since then!

 We breed our Signum Whippets on a small scale,
in pursuit of multi-purpose dogs with sound bodies and minds, good looks
and an ability to enjoy all facets and activities where Whippets belong.
Our Whippets are our friends and companions first and foremost.
Everything else is a bonus!

Do not miss the rest of our canine family. Our very first Sighthound was the
Afghan Hound Ch El Khyrias Ala Zakene (bred by Christina Jernberg in 1965).
"Shira" is distantly related to our  Xciting Afghan Hounds.

Xciting has also introduced us to our smallest
(but not least!) love: Chihuahuas!

Apart from our own Signum dogs, these pages will also include archives
from memorable events and travels that we have made through the years.
